ONE TICKET TO 1978 PLEASE
I don't even know where to start...
It was monday july 23
the weather was ass cause it was raining bleugh
anyway
that didnt ruin anything!
took some umbrella and headed off to paradiso by bike (oh yes)
we arrived at around 6:30 and already 50 people or something were there
so we got in line and jus stood there talking and watching people
it was so weird just knowing we were actually gonna see them, yay!
so at 7/7:30 the doors opened and we could go in, finally
we entered the "grote zaal" of paradiso and actually had a very good spot!
could see anything :)
people were a little annoying cause everybody wanted to go to the front but hey,,
that didnt work! ha!
so we had to wait for an hour and got some beer to kill time
had some laughs watched some people and check up persons being all over the stage
at 8:30 lights went out and people came on!
i saw guys and shadows and then my friend yelled: there she is!
it was so weird seeying them for real!
you always see them on tv and stuff but they looked so different cause they were younger of course but still..
it was weird that these people actually have done all those songs. all those tours, all those records, all those photoshoots, it's kinda surreal
debbie looked so good, energetic but she had a cold so...
the crowd went wild that was nice
i had a fantastic evening and i will never forget it

On a serious tip:
I wish I was at the concert...for real! My sister asked my dad if he didn't wanna go. But then she went to spain on vacation...and me....I was deadbroke to buy a ticket. :P
According to the Paradiso-website, it was completely sold out. Woah! She still attracts a lot of people!

There was a really big fashion parade taking place on the Spanish Steps and they just all happened to be staying in the same hotel as us. It was very very very cool! We took heaps of photos and video footage too, but have no idea where they all got to. Hmmmmm.....really must look for the photos at least. I recall a really hot one of Marcus Schenkenberg (I think that was his name - really gorgeous male model).
Anyway, glad to hear you enjoyed the concert. I imagine Blondie still rock!
