LOHRAW YDNA

I went to see Andy again at the Stedelijk museum in Amsterdam..
We had to go there for a school project.
Normally I'm 100% against school projects but now it involved Andy so I decided to make an exception.
I got to see a little more of the collection than the previous time, but still...
if I go there for a third visit I couls still spend a day seeying things I missed before..
There is a lot of video material and I LOVE it!
It includes all of my favorite people from David Bowie and Debbie Harry to Mick Jagger and Jean Michel Basquiat. Oh, and I must not forget Edie Sedgwick of course.
There was this empty square room with nothing but walls...
On every wall was a projection of a screentest from different people.
It was just a movie from a few minutes in complete silence however saying it all.
On wall 1 we saw Edie Sedgwick looking very similar to Marilyn Monroe.
See for yourself:

Another one I liked was Lou Reed versus Hersheys (top that)...
To create our own little artyfarty thing we fucked up that movie by being incredibly childish and play the light and shadow game.

See:

Now, Im off to bed.

ZZZ

(finish off with some quotes)
I like boring things.
I am a deeply superficial person.
Everyone will be famous for 15 minutes.
I had a lot of dates but I decided to stay home and dye my eyebrows.
My idea of a good picture is one that's in focus and of a famous person
I'm afraid that if you look at a thing long enough, it loses all of its meaning.
If you want to know all about Andy Warhol, just look at the surface of my paintings and films and me, and there I am. There's nothing behind it.

Oh yeah baby! I loved the whole 'Andy-show' too. Would like to go again.

You've made great pictures. I wish I have made pics too, but I've brought along my huuuuge camera so I couldn't sneak it inside.

One of my favorites was the room with all the movies. Including the movie of the Empire State Building!

Boring, yet very interesting.
