AUTOINTERVIEW
Good morning ladies and gentlemen.
As the trashbag in my kitchen falls over on the floor I am behind my laptop updating my blog. I'm still recovering from the interview I had with a person you all know, myself.
Since I'm late for class and have nothing better to do than sit around and wait for the next lesson to appear, I figured I might as well use this time to share my interesting foundings with you all.
Sit back, relax and enjoy... (seriously, no pressure)

Sitting on the couch in a cosey apartment just outside the city center of Amsterdam, I am enjoying a hot cinnamon caramel coffee while watching the view through the enormous windows. Amsterdam is a beautiful city with a very interesting cultural side; World War II, the home of Viktor&Rolf, the canals through the entire city and the many many coffeeshops. Well I am not here to go to any of these places because I am not a tourist. I am here for work, expanding my portfolio by assignments I order myself to do. This is my very first interview and the lady of the hour just sat down with me to do some serious talking.
She sips her coffee and watches the stunning view with me. We're both in a moment of enjoyment; coffee, amsterdam and daydreaming... This is what makes a regular day a good day. She seems comfortable in her home she shares with her friend and a bunny. The coffeetable is filled with magazines, nailpolish and some funky coasters. I finished my coffee and ask her if she's ready to get started.
"Bring it on," she replies.
I start by asking her about her name, to get comfy.
Danique, what an unusual name. I haven't heard it very often. Have your parents had a special reason to call you this?
With a thoughtful look she itches her heard and starts to make "errr".... sounds. A reply follows.
I don't think so. When they started picking out names for me they looked through a babynames book and just selected a few they liked. My dad also liked the name Anique or Aniek but I'm glad they went for Danique. When I was younger I never liked my name and always pretended it was Linda. I'm so glad my parents were more original.

Comments
Danique, your writing-skills have improved. My compliments. If you continue posting these quality-posts...you can become a writer / columnist / novelist / very good copywriter. And then I will be your # 1 fan.
(And as a fan, I will send you a hot coffee everyday, via UPS / FEDEX / DHL / TNT)
But I still like you ;p
Boredom has arrived right?
Can't wait for the rest of the interview!
xx Joey
