First week and a day

It's been 2010 for a good week now and it came with a helloffan entree.

Snowstorms... Blizzards... ICY ROADS...!

Beautiful yet horrible and I won't even talk about the temperatures.
It's inhuman almost, it wasn't even this cold during my time in Sweden!
I mean, come on mother Earth!

But I gotta give her a little credit for this weather as well... Before christmas I was babysitting my friends rabbit PLUK again in the city center of Amsterdam. It gave me the opportunity to stroll around in the snow and enjoy the beautiful sights of white and silent Amsterdam (especially East Amsterdam). It brought back a lot of memories from when I was a little girl and we went visiting my grandma... Check it out, this is where she used to live.



Anyway, I love Amsterdam Oost! Multiculti, Artis Zoo, Dappermarkt etc. etc.
I took more pictures that day including a very alternative snowman and the most photographed canal of the city (Staalstraat)!
