la kermesse

>So, what did you do last night?
Well I went to the kermis in the "city center" of Heemskerk.

Apparantly a kermis (fair or smtn) is kind of a farmer sort of festival...
That's according to some people who clearly have never been to one.
Heemskerk joins in this farmerish festival every year.
Read, look and enjoy (or not, it depends how farmerish and openminded you are)

Big party tents all over the place.
Floors covered with beer, plastic cups, food, crap and more gross stuff you really don't wanna fall into.
Every (fun) Heemskerker is there.
There is alcohol.
There is more alcohol.
And there is an actual fairground with rides and stuff for kids (...)
I got money from my grandparents for it.
LOL.
Loud, loud ass-ish music that screams: I'm 14 and I love Breezers.
(bR33z4Hs, for the incrowd)
So then you dance or talk or act like an idiot or shoot some pictures.
Did them all.
See for yourself :)
And finally go to sleep really late and having to go to work at 6AM the next day.
But you know.....

-The end-

Kermis... a typical time of fun for the "provincie" peeps. It's funny, the province Noord-Holland is in the Kermissfeer, Heemskerk, Den Helder, Lutjebroek ;) Back to reality right ;p
