I'VE BEEN INSPIRED
Sooooooooooooo..
I don't really have anything to say but it's been a while since I updated this little blog here...
I'm gonna share some stuff that's on my mind.
It's not very interesting all this stuff I have to get out of my head but since this is MY blog
and you chose to read it, well I get to decide what I decide to share...
Ok I'll just get started now.
So,
where were we?
Last week me and my sister went out to dinner at this great mexican place called Alfonso's.
Since we're both incredible mexican food lovers this was an easy choice and we had fun.
After that we visited our boyfriends Ben & Jerry for a delicious afterparty.
A few weeks ago me and some classmates were talking about going abroad for a minor
in our studies. We were trying to go to Hong Kong but since that's really expensive
unfortunately that didn't work out.
Our second option was California cause our school
was supposed to have some kind of connection to a university or whatever in the
warm west-coast of the USA but those costs weren't that attractive either..
So that led us to....
SWEDEN!
We are now trying to attend to a university in mid Sweden, Sundsvall. It's about
200 km. above Stockholm so that's quite doable for a weekend or something.
Well nothing is official yet but I'm really hoping everything will work out!
Last weekend I went to some kind of Rock 'n Roll event, which was fun.
I took some fun pictures check out my Flickr.
All these people! Some of them looked just like Elvis (but uglier) and Marilyn (but uglier).
I had so much fun just wandering around and looking for cool vintage goodies.
Then I went back to Amsterdam.
And this week it was my roommates birthday, she finally turned 20.
We had a dinnerparty and I made a cake and a brownie! Yeah! And it was good (according to me) hihi
And then finally after some horrible school terror it is what they call here herfstvakantie (Fall vacation/ Autumn holiday whatever the h*ll you want to call it, it means we're getting a week off school so I'm happy either way).
So tuesday night poker night with work people which should be fun since I don't know how to play poker... Oh and we're gonna have Polish goodies (VODKA!) for dinner.
Wednesday I'm gonna check out this BOB GRUEN exposition in Rotterdam.
Back in the days (not my days but THE days) he took a lot of really great photos.
He shot John&Yoko, Ramones, NYDolls, Iggy, Blondie etc. so of course I can't wait!
Last week LOU REED was just around the corner (seriously).
Apparantly this tiny galery really close to my house opened his exposition with photos he took of New York.
I was just walking by and saw all these people and heard stupid Americans talk really loud and shouting "OMG I'm with LOU REED lalalalalala" something like that.
Reason enough for me to ignore it and walk right on home.
But then the next day I read in some newspaper that mr. Reed actually was there himself.
So then I was bummed that I didn't just had ignored those American idiots and went in to take a look myself but anyway...
Also a Warhol expo going on right now what I will go to FOR SURE! Lou Reed opened for that show as well, performing.
Today I bought two LP's from Blondie and I'm so happy!
I'm gonna just put them on the wall to make my room look pretty (Parallel lines and Plastic Letters). <3>
