IN A RUSH CITY_MN_USA

so we went to the states the other day,,
we flew off at like 11 am at schiphol airport
our first stop was chicago
flew over the big lakes got a great first view of america
then we had to wait for 2 hours because we landed almost an hour earlier so we could hit the starbucks (not a problem!!)
met some nice people on the plane,, one woman who had a son in the US, he attended high school for a year like my sis..
and a girl who was gonna work in colorado springs for two months so good luck, big experience..
the food on this plane was actually not that bad,, so yay!
and i got to watch freedom writers again, nice moooovie
our second flight was a slightly smaller plane and quite old as well,,
it brought us from chicago to minneapolis within an hour, and we also got the grand tour over town, beautiful!
we had to wait like half an hour before we got off so when we finally touched minnesota grounds it felt great!
it was such a strange feeling that we had just arrived and my sister had been there for about 10 months!!
when we walked towards the luggage thingie we looked out for her and then i saw her!
i dropped my bags and we ran to each other it was sooooo good seeing her again!
all of us hugged for like 10 minutes... :)
it was great meeting her host parents who we had seen on pictures and stuff but never in real life so it was kinda weird at first and they seemed sooo much smaller! (but it seems americans are small so.. lol)
we did like a lot since then but i dont feel like writing anymore and were gonna hit the movies soon so ill probably write more some other time,,
bye for now,, sleep tight!

Hi darling!
What a nice story, a little short though, wanted to know a lot more! Is it the house of Dionne's hostparents on the picture by the way? It looks so much like an all Dutch granny's house! Haha!

Byebye and a lot of fun from me to you!

Oh yes, Danique. I'm glad you're still alive! You didn't crash into the ocean! ;)

I enjoyed reading your lil story about your arrival. Can't wait to read some more 'Adventures of Danique in The States'...!

Buhbye!
