SUPERIOR DULUTH
the first week was pretty full and unorganized..
saw a soccer (hell yes) game (of a 4 and a 8 year old but still),
went shopping like a thousand times (maplewood, walmart haha, tanger and more) but then, we went to a place that some of you will describe as heaven..
mall of america, finally after all the wonderful stories.
and the best part, THEY HAD AN URBAN OUTFiTTERS!
they had fab books, fashion, accs, enz enz i swear i could live there! bought awesome sunglasses (a bit big but too fab to ignore)
ate a lot of subway stuff, some taco stuff, some french fries (you try to escape them!)
so that was pretty much the first which we ended pretty well with a lunch at roxy's in rush..
week 2. what a house!
it's up in a tree (or something like that)
and in an area of trees and deers and trees and forests and er...
a huge, immense, gigantic lake..
wednesday morning after breakfast at the hotel we left cambridge (20 minutes from rush) and headed for duluth..
it was a 2,5 hour ride and we got the whole jeep car stuffed with our stuff
well anyway we got there zonder kleerscheuren and amazed us about the house.
(see my first lines)
the first night was pretty quiet and stuff,, too much nothing going on outside so my sis and i decided to put the beds together and watch a movie until 2:30
next day we went shopping again and i got really annoyed by the people in the stores/shops/whatever..
once you're inside the shop they're alllll over you.
it's frikkin' crazy!
even one chick in bath and body works had like a broken leg or smtn and she went after me till the end of the store and told her story anyway *aaargh!*
she even made me put lotion on my hands because it was only 5 bucks instead of 15! get real girl, lie in your bed, get better!
save your blabla for your momma!
ennniewee to get back to normal...
duluth is a great city, lots of water and bridges and a factory of wood that smells like my grandmother making gehaktballen :D hhihi
saw some waterfalls, that was pretty awesome and beautiful!
also saw a little brewery called fitgers in town.
we had coffee and cake in this lovely little kitschy thing in town as well... it was like walking into christmas, fantastic
there was just one old lady in the shop/cafe who served us a princess cake that me and my dad shared, a scone and some coffees..
while eating/drinking these, we watched a lady in the street trying to get her wig onto her head it was hilarious! it was just in the middle of the street!! crazy americans..
then it was wednesday already and now im in the next country inn across the mcdonalds in...
MILWAUKEE!
tomorrow we're heading downtown, wish me fun ands stuff!
bye lovelies..
xx

I've first hear of 'Duluth' in one of my favorite romantic movies of all time: 'Sleepless in Seattle'...what a coincidence.
Have a nice trip. And come back safe to The Netherlands zonder kleerscheuren...hahaha.
